Said it before on this thread but the remastering is EXCELLENT
When i saw the trailer i thought it was actors.
Another observation.... Lennon looked like he did FUCK ALL. Dunno if its intentionally edited that way or what.
I didn't expect them all to be boozing either. I know they were rock stars and all that.

Highlight for me is the massive divvy grin of joy on Mal Evans's face every time he hits the anvil on Maxwell's Silver Hammer.

Watched quite a bit of it the other night.
Was quite INTERESTING how they made music.
Seemed like they'd just piss around until something sounded good, then match lyrics to it, lyrics that only really have to sound good.
Can totally understand why purists and intellectual types might dislike this. But it WORKS.
Most modern pop music is probably made exactly the same, with more AI.

Watched the first episode.
Yoko Ono couldn't have made it more clearer that she didn't want to be there if she'd installed a big flashing neon sign on her head that read "I don't want to fucking be here."
No wonder McCartney & the other Beatles were pissed off at her presence
Even Linda Eastman knew where the line was and she was actually part of the creative process.

Whether you like to pretend that 'the Beatles were shit' or not, the fact remains that their international success was an important historical phenomenon of the 1960s, a prominent component of the counter-culture and, along with many other factors, the catalyst for a great deal of societal change.
You can watch it as entertainment, as a lesson in the creative process, as a lesson in friendship power dynamics, as a historical artefact or you can not bother, 'cos you're not interested in any of that stuff.
Moaning about it is like complaining that a preserved Lancaster bomber is boring, useless, ugly and a load of rubbish compared with a cruise missile.

McCartney is far more influential than I ever realised. I enjoyed watching the process of creation however, it was rather stretched out. Just 4 musicians in tune with each other. A British country and western band with electric guitars, and Yoko knitting.
